Paul Sullivan is a dual-certified safety and industrial hygiene professional. With over 31 years of OSHA compliance experience, he has served as inspector, district supervisor, bureau chief, and assistant director with the North Carolina state-OSHA program, which covers both private and public-sector employers. He was directly involved in the compliance case files for over 7,000 inspections, including nearly 550 work-related fatalities. This work was supplemented by 19 years as a practicing EMT/firefighter, which provided an invaluable skill set when conducting workplace accident investigations.
